From a single cake box tray to a full family of matched lids and inserts, each mold is CNC-machined from aluminum, trial-run in-house and delivered with documentation, so cake box suppliers can launch new SKUs without building their own mold engineering team.

OEM Exact Drawing Production
Customer-supplied 2D/3D drawings are reviewed for forming feasibility, then CNC-machined to dimension. Dimensional inspection reports and trial samples are supplied with every mold for incoming quality control.

ODM Design Support
If the customer only has a product idea or a sample on hand, our engineers refine the geometry, suggest draft angles and pocket layout, and propose material and cavity count before any machining starts.

CNC Precision & Consistency
Aluminum plates are machined on CNC centers with matched datums, so repeat orders of the same cake box part produce identical dimensions and fit across different batches.

After-Sales Mold Adjustment
If production conditions change, our team guides on-site adjustment by video or remote support, and ships wear parts or modified plates so the supplier does not lose production days.

What is the difference between your OEM and ODM service?
Under OEM, you provide the 2D/3D drawing or sample and we machine the mold exactly to it. Under ODM, you bring the product idea or reference, and our engineers develop the geometry, cavity layout and cooling design before machining.
We are a cake box supplier without a mold design team. Can you still help?
Yes. Many of our customers are packaging suppliers who handle sales and production in-house but rely on HXW for mold engineering. Send us the cake or dessert you need to pack, and we will propose a tray or insert design together with the quotation.
Does the customer own the mold after purchase?
Yes. Once the mold is paid in full, property and use rights belong to the customer. We keep the design file for after-sales support and future repeat orders, but do not resell the same tooling layout to other suppliers without permission.
Can you supply both the tray mold and the matching lid mold?
Yes. Cake box trays, lids and inserts can be designed as a matched set on the same datum, so dimensions stay consistent and the lid closes properly on the tray across repeat orders.
What is the lead time for an OEM or ODM mold?
OEM projects typically take about four weeks after drawing approval and deposit. ODM projects, which include engineering design review and trial rounds, usually take five to six weeks.
